Abdulrhman Almaghrabi
Abdulrhman Almaghrabi is a Saudi visual artist whose work spans more than thirty years, during which he has built a rich and varied practice. He has held more than ten solo exhibitions in Jeddah, Riyadh and Cairo, alongside many participations in the Saudi and Arab art movement. He is known for his distinctive artistic presence and for winning a number of awards, to the point that in 1413 AH he was nicknamed the Award Hunter; among his most notable achievements is winning the Souq Okaz Award. He also holds a master's degree, which has enriched his artistic and intellectual experience and tied his practice to research and study. His work holds a prominent place in the Saudi art scene: it was ranked among the 18 most important artistic experiences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to the book Saudi Artists Today. It is the outcome of a long course of research, experiment and practice, through which he formed a style of his own and established his presence in the history of Saudi visual art.
